Objectives

The Central Institute of Transport and Communications trains and cultivates the officials and service staff from the Departments and Corporations under the Ministry of Rail Transpoartation such as the Myanmar Railway, the  Road Transport Corporation , the Department of Transportation (Plan) , the Department of Transporation and Communications and Central Institute of Transport and Communications . Training courses are conducted to fulfil the following objectives. 
 

(a) To train service personnel to be skilled in their trades in accordance with the     procedures in their 

      Manuals and to keep abreast of modern techniques.
 

(b) To train service personnel to be skilled in management and to make use of their    abilities in the

       performance of their duties.

(c) To nurture their human resourses constantly so that they will be able to raise the    standard of their

      all-round transporation tasks.
